Wrongful Death

The loss of a loved one is always a traumatizing event, but if that person died as a result of negligence, carelessness, or a reckless act, it can be especially devastating. Kentucky law allows certain family members and the estate to pursue justice against the negligent actions of others, including drunk driving accidents or medical malpractice.
There are several areas where the estate can claim damages, including medical expenses, lost earnings, funeral expenses, and the pain and suffering of the decedent. Certain family members may have additional claims as well.
Please contact us if you feel that a loved one died as a result of the negligence or intentional acts of another individual or company. We will personally meet with you to discuss your legal options. Not every death will be a viable case, and we will be upfront if that in the case for you. But, if you have suffered the loss of a loved one, we want to help. If necessary, we are always prepared to take your case to court and fight for you.
As always with wrongful death cases, at Walker Wallace, PLC, there is no charge to the client, unless we win or settle your case. If we do win or settle your case, court costs and/or case expenses will be deducted from that settlement or judgment.
