Mark B. Wallace

Mr. Wallace was born in Atlanta, Georgia and graduated from Lassiter High School in Marietta, Georgia in 1988. He attended North Carolina State University in Raleigh, North Carolina where he was a member of Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity, a member of the University Student Honor Council, and an Assistant to the Chief Justice. He graduated magna cum laude in 1992 with a B.A. in Political Science.
After college, Mr. Wallace taught school in Cary, North Carolina for two years. He then decided to attend law school at the Brandeis School of Law at the University of Louisville in 1994. During law school, Mr. Wallace participated in numerous school and community activities. He was a elected President of the Brandeis Honor Society and was the Chairman of the Honor Council. He also clerked at the United States Attorney’s Office in Louisville and completed an internship with United States District Judge John G. Heyburn, II. Mr. Wallace graduated magna cum laude and ranked 3rd in his class in 1997.
Before graduation from law school, Mr. Wallace was selected to be a Judicial Law Clerk by Judge Eugene E. Siler, Jr. of the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. He therefore moved to London, Kentucky, where Judge Siler’s chambers are located, and worked on a number of important cases. After he completed the clerkship, Mr. Wallace accepted employment at Warren N. Scoville & Associates in London, where he handled all types of matters, including federal criminal cases, auto accidents, and employment discrimination cases.
In 1999, Mr. Wallace moved back to Louisville and worked for Brown, Todd & Heyburn on a large tobacco litigation case. Afterward, he was offered a position at Woodward, Hobson & Fulton in the commercial litigation section. There, he focused his practice on complex commercial cases, including franchise contracts, insurance coverage, and business disputes.
In 2002, Mr. Wallace, along with Mr. Walker and Mr. Vaughn formed Walker, Vaughn & Wallace, PLLC and located in southern Jefferson County in order to provide easily accessible legal services. Since then, he has represented hundreds of clients in nearly all areas of the law.
Mr. Wallace is married to Elizabeth Pratt Wallace, also an attorney. They have one daughter, Laurel.
